William H. Burton, Jr. is an actor and stunt performer who had several roles in 24. Burton is a distinguished stunt performer and a member of the group "Stunts Unlimited".

Biography and career[]

William Burton, Jr. started his career in Hollywood as an actor. During the 1970s, he appeared in TV shows like The Immortal and The Quest, as well as films like Earthquake and Slumber Party '57. However, in 1989, Burton transitioned to a career as a stunt performer.

As a stunt performer, Burton has worked on films like Predators 2, Patriot Games, Godzilla, xXx, and The 40-Year Old Virgin. He has also worked as a second unit director in several films and TV shows.

Burton, Jr. has appeared several times on 24:

In "Day 1: 11:00am-12:00pm" and "12:00pm-1:00pm", he played one of Ira Gaines' mercenaries, who was killed by Jack Bauer when he shot the fuel tank of the van and exploding it.
In "Day 2: 8:00pm-9:00pm", he played a CTU worker killed by the bombs there. He was standing in the bullpen and was thrown over a desk by the explosion.
In "Day 4: 1:00pm-2:00pm", he played a hitman at Felsted Security who just rounded a corner of the corridor before being shot by Jack Bauer.
In "Day 5: 10:00am-11:00am", he doubled for Randall Archer as a Dawn Brigade separatist at Ontario Airport. He was shot by the marines and fell through a pane of glass, before Jack took his gun.
In "Day 5: 1:00am-2:00am", he played a henchman of Stipes who landed with him but was shot by CTU.
