William O'Leary (born October 19, 1957; age 66) played Sid Paulson during Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career[]

William O'Leary was born in Chicago, Illinois. In 1976, he graduated from Highland Park High School in Illinois and in 1982 earned an MFA at the Professional Actors Theatre Program at the University of Washington in Seattle. He began his acting career performing in theater plays, and in 1986 made his Broadway Debut in the play Precious Sons.

The next year, he made his film debut appearing in Nice Girls Don't Explode. After that, he has appeared in films like Walker (with Keith Szarabajka and Xander Berkeley), Bull Durham, Lost Angels (with Jonathan Del Arco), Hot Shots! (with Ryan Cutrona), Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (with Tony Todd and David Gianopoulos), Mad City (with Mia Kirshner and Lucinda Jenney), Daybreak (with Mark Kiely), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (with Regina King), Moola (with Doug Hutchison), and In My Pocket (with Glenn Morshower).
