Day 8
Agent Winnick arrived at CTU New York by helicopter with a security detail. He was ordered to transfer Jack Bauer to McGuire Air Force Base for debriefing. When Jack was brought to the helipad, Winnick introduced himself and told him where he was being taken. As they walked towards the helicopter, Winnick told Jack he had heard a lot about him and apologized for meeting under these circumstances. Jack told him there was no need to apologize. However, as they approached the helicopter, Jack took Winnick's gun and forced him closer to it. He then instructed everyone to put their arms down or he would kill Winnick. He then ordered the pilot to get down as well and took the helicopter, leaving Winnick on the ground. When Chloe O'Brian arrived, she instructed Winnick to contact FAA and the Air Force and tell them about the situation.
