Yogesh Suri (born August 22, 1950; age 70), also known professionally as Yuri Suri, is a veteran Indian actor who played Mahinder Gill in the first season of the Indian version of 24.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Yogesh Suri was born in Delhi, India. He attended public school in his hometown, and then graduated from the National Defense Academey, Pune and Flying College. Suri then served as an Air Force fighter pilot for 20 years. After his service, he became a radio disc-jockey hosting a show called Drive Time on Delhi's FM Radio for 7 years.

Eventually, Suri started pursuing a career in acting. He has appeared in films like Chai Pani Etc., Veer, Isaaq, Mantra, and The Legend of Michael Mishra. His appearance in 24: India is his first venture into TV shows.
