Yukie Nakama (born October 30, 1979; age 46) is a Japanese actress who played the role of Urara Asakura in the Japanese version of 24.
Biography[]
Yukie Nakama was born in Urasoe, Okinawa, Japan. She is the youngest of five siblings, born into a fisherman's family.
Nakama started her career in entertainment as a model and singer. She released her debut single, "Moonlight to Daybreak", in 1996. After that, Nakama started getting small roles in feature films and TV shows. Her career breakthrough was in the 2000 feature film Ringu 0, a prequel to the critically acclaimed Ringu.
Aside from that, Nakama has appeared in feature films like Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris, Shinobi: Heart Under Blade, and the lead role in the Trick franchise. She has also appeared in TV shows like Gokusen, Untouchable, Tempest, and Fake Affair. Nakama has also appeared in commercials for numerous companies like Glico, Lotte, Asahi, and KDDI.
Makama married fellow actor Tetsushi Tanaka on September 18, 2014. She gave birth to twin sons in 2018.
