Zahid Kamble was an undercover police officer during Day 1.

Zahid arranged to buy a kilogram of cocaine from Hardik and Shashank on Day 1. He called Shashank shortly after 6pm, checking that the deal would still go ahead, and Shashank told him to come to Mina Nagar at 6:30pm. When Zahid arrived, he asked if Shashank was having a party as there were a lot of people there. Shashank brought him a bag of white powder, and when he tasted it guns were drawn and he was held hostage. Veer Singh Rathod took his gun, but at that moment his reinforcements entered the room and arrested everyone there. ("6:00pm-7:00pm")

The prisoners were taken to a police station, and Zahid questioned Veer. Veer claimed he had nothing to do with the deal, and his gun was empty, but Zahid did not believe him and had Kadam take him back to the cells. ("7:00pm-8:00pm")

Veer was later caught fighting with Hardik and Shashank, and he was brought before Zahid again. He claimed he was acting in self-defense, and then he called out to Major Rajput who was talking with Fernandes. Rajput came over and verified that Veer was from the military academy, and Fernandes scolded Kamble for not believing his story. However, Veer defended the inspector, saying many suspects must come out with similar stories. Veer was then released, and asked for the release of Simran as well. ("8:00pm-9:00pm")
